2009 St. Andrews International Golf Management Qualification Course

(Professional Development Award in Golf Management)

 

In order to adapt to the development of golf club management in China, the International Training Programme PDA (St. Andrews International Golf Certificate ─ Professional Development Award in Golf Management) of Elmwood College has officially launched. This programme is designed for golf-related industry, especially for improving the management level of the senior managers in golf club, adjusting and improving their knowledge structure, so as to enhance the overall operations, management level and core competitiveness of the golf club.

During the training period, trainees could take a week-long internship rotation in the important departments of Spring City Golf Club, learning the top Asian golf club’s business management practices. In addition, trainees could get the chance to play golf daily on the training base and personally organize 4 rounds of golf events and management cases.

Value-added ServicesEach trainee in the course will get the priority recommendation from Andrews Times Golf Management Ltd in job application, and also have the opportunity to visit and study in St. Andrews, and gain the qualification of HND at Elmwood College.

Length of TrainingTotal 9 months, teaching centralized in four times, 9 days per month (5 working days a week plus two weekends 4 days before and after). The other time for distance learning.

5.      Admission list will be published. Elmwood College (Scotland) takes the responsibility to confirm the material whether meets the admissions criteria.
