The first Sunday in July, there’s a yearly Scotland Highland Sports Competition (Cupar Stop) to be held on the play ground which is next to Elmwood College.

Scottish and Chinese lecturers and students celebrated together the Chinese New Year.
On 10th, 11th July 2006, International Department lecturers of Elmwood College: Brian Bayne, Ian Butcher and Shirley Ouyang led Chinese students to visit Royal Dornoch Golf Club, which is located in Scotland highland with more than 400 years history. Above shows the photo taken with the General Manager of club Mr. John.
General Manager Mr. John introduced to Chinese friends the history and development of Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
On the Royal Dornoch Golf Course, Elmwood’s experienced lecturers Mr. Ian Butcher gave a detailed explanation of golf course design, construction, fairway and grass characteristics.

On 18th July 2006, lecturers and students of Elmwood College visited the most famous Golf Resort in U.K. and got a friendly competition in Gleneagle Golf Club where the 2005’ G8 Summit was held.
