Elwood College was founded in 1953, located in St Andrews Fife, Scotland, where is regarded as the home of golf. It is also home to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. (Royal and Ancient Club of St Andrews is one of the oldest and most prestigious golf club and responsible to rule authority of golf in the world.) Elmwood College plays a leading role in teaching golf related courses with its high reputation in the world. Elmwood works closely with top level golfers, green keeping experts and specialist in conservation management to ensure that both golfers and wildlife alike appreciate and approve of the results. The College constructed the 18-hole golf course at Stratheden in 1995, where is the premier centre for training students for golfing industry, combined with its impressive rural location in north east Fife near historic golfing town of St Andrews, makes it an ideal place for student to study and hone their skills on the 18-hole golf courses as part of training.
